According to her, the latest threat came in about a few weeks ago when one of the suspects confronted her and threatened to kill her, saying even those who killed her husband are now walking as free persons. So he will walk about as a free person and nobody will hold him responsible for her death.

Yaa Attaa indicated that the suspect, after the threats, attacked and beat her mercilessly but she managed to escape with the help of her son who also suffered some injuries.

The deceased husband, according to Yaa Attaa, suffered the same attack from these men in his farm and later died at Wassa Akropong government hospital.
