Reggae/dancehall artiste, Samini, has described his protégé, Stonebwoy, as a stubborn son.
Samini, who was being interviewed by a team of journalists at the recently-held security meeting between the Ghana Police Service and showbiz personalities, was briefly interrupted by Stonebwoy, who said “thank you, thank you, thank you… the show is 24th December” amid laughter by both musicians and the media personnel.
In his response, Samini turned to the journalists and said, “This is what happens when you have a stubborn son.”
This comes on the back of a recent statement made by Samini, that his relationship with Stonebwoy, who was previously under his Highgrade Family Record Label, is strained.
The two artistes, however, did not show any sign of disaffection when they encountered each other.
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare, met actors in the Ghanaian creative arts industry to discuss issues relating to security.
The meeting, which was held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, was attended by a host of celebrities in the entertainment industry.
