Ghana’s COVID-19 Case Count Now 18,630 After 496 New Cases

Ghana’s Coronavirus cases have risen again to 18,630, after 496 new cases according to the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye.

Speaking at a press briefing held at the Information Ministry on Thursday, July 2, 2020, Dr. Kuma-Aboagye said the active cases remain 4,467.

The number of persons who have recovered from the disease has also increased pushing the national tally to 14,046 from 13,550.

The death toll remains 117.

Meanwhile, 22 patients are in severe condition, 8 are in critical and 6 are on ventilator.
