COVID-19: Ghana’s cases hit 20,085; 122 deaths

Ghana’s cases of COVID-19 has jumped to 20,085 in few days, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed.

This comes after the country recorded 697 new cases.

From the positive cases, 122 have been recorded dead whiles 14, 870 persons have recovered.

Meanwhile there are 5,093 active cases, and it follows the previous case increase on July 4, 2020.

Currently, President Nana Akufo Addo is observing a 14-day precautionary self-isolation measure after “at least one person within his close circle tested positive for Covid-19.”
