The MP was accompanied by Mr John Agyare, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Anthony Nketsia Kofi, Ahanta West Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party and some staff of the Assembly.

He interacted with some of the residents in the beneficiary communities and some workers on the projects sites and encouraged them to do a good job to get the projects ready on schedule.

He urged the community members to offer their support to the contractors to enable them to facilitate work quickly and also implored them to relay all their grievances to the Assembly to better the quality of life for the citizens in the Constituency.

Speaking in an interview with the media after the inspection, Lawyer Kum expressed satisfaction with the pace of work at the end of the tour and urged all contractors to work ahead of schedule.

He stressed that all the ongoing projects in the constituency will be completed looking at the investor potential opportunities like tourism and the fact that the constituency was becoming a gateway to the region as Sekondi-Takoradi was choked.

He observed that communities along improved roads, where the majority of trips start and/or end, experienced greater asset growth compared to those along with unimproved ones and mentioned that the town roads would also receive some facelift.

Mr John Agyare on his part said regular site visits and supervision would be conducted to make sure that the projects were not stuck while making sure that value for the investments was achieved.

He asked for the support and cooperation of the residents along with the beneficiary communities and promised to see to it that all projects by his predecessor were done to satisfaction and completed on time.
